Why Camp Downtown?

Camp is more than just a few days of fun—it’s a memory maker, a life-shaper, and a time for kids to experience faith, friendships, and adventure in a whole new way. At Camp Downtown, we’ve created a one-of-a-kind summer day camp designed to give kids an unforgettable experience while helping them grow in faith, confidence, and community.

Each day, kids will enjoy:

1. The Jesus Factor

We know that introducing children to Jesus at a young age is one of the greatest investments we can make in their lives. The Bible tells us:

"Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." – Proverbs 22:6

At Camp Downtown, we prioritize teaching kids about God’s love in a way they can understand and apply to their daily lives. Through worship, Bible stories, and fun, interactive lessons, we plant seeds of faith that will grow as they do!

2. The Parent Factor

Parents, this camp is for YOU too! We know parenting is a full-time job, and we want to support you. Whether that means giving your kids a safe, exciting, and meaningful place to spend their summer days, or simply giving you a break while knowing they’re in good hands, we’re here to help!

We also understand that summer camps can be expensive, so we’ve made Camp Downtown affordable for families—just $70 per child ($60 per child for families with two or more). Our goal is to remove the stress so you can focus on what matters most—seeing your kids thrive!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Students may bring a sack lunch labeled with their name and given to camp staff at check-in should they not wish to partake in any day of the camp lunches.

  • Food and snacks are provided as part of the camp registration. If there is anything your child cannot have, please make sure this is communicated on the registration form or emailed prior to camp.

  • For the protection of all campers, please do not allow your kids to bring electronic devices (phones, tablets, Nintendo switch, etc.). Any devices found will be taken and held for the parent at check-out.

  • Play clothes, tennis shoes & sunscreen is recommended. Kids are also welcome to bring refillable water bottles, but they are not required.

  • At the start of the week the kids will get to select a “Develop” elective class that will attend for all 4 days of camp. This class allows the kids to grow and develop in a skill they are already interested in. Each of these classes will present what they have worked on all week at the closing ceremony on Friday.

  • Choir, Dance, Puppetry and Art.
