Find Your Place

Something we say a lot at First Assembly is, “There is a place here for you.” And we believe that! One of our main goals at First Assembly is that everyone would find their place in ministry. By serving you are taking part of the ministry of First Assembly; a ministry partner. You are stepping off the sidelines and becoming a contributor and an active part of the body of Christ. We believe as you do this, you will see exponential growth in your own life as well.

Some of the areas to get involved at First Assembly:

YoungLife Kids

Creating fun, kid-friendly environments where kids develop their relationship with God and others is what serving in YoungLife Kids is all about. You’ll encourage kids and help them grow in their faith during weekend and midweek services. Areas include: Birth-3 years, 4 years-Kindergarten, and 1st-5th Grade).

Elevate Youth

Our goal is that our students have a church family. From youth leaders who speak into their lives every week to greeters, set-up teams, game leaders, and more, there are a lot of ways to be a part of the Elevate Youth family on Wednesday Nights.

Worship Team

We believe in the power of worship to help people have face-to-face moments with God. These teams lead our church in worship every week in Elevate Youth and all of our Sunday services.

Outreach

Throughout the year, First Assembly partners with various organizations to do outreaches in our community. New opportunities are available frequently and we are always looking for new ways to make an impact.

Host Team

Before our guests ever enter a worship service or hear a message from our pastor, the host team has been hard at work creating memorable first impressions and helpful interactions in our parking lot, lobby, and auditorium. There are many ways you can serve on this team: parking, info desk, greeters, ushers, prayer partners, security, and more.

Media Team

If you’re looking for a position that lets you stay behind the scenes to help bring our weekend services to life, the media team could be a great fit for you! Each week, this team covers all areas of service production, from running video cameras, lighting, lyrics, and audio to providing technical and stage support.
